Group Bookings & Parties At Darbaar

Group events and parties can easily be transformed into something special and out of the ordinary thanks to Darbaar, the best Indian restaurant in London.

Royal by name, royal by nature. Darbaar has earned its title as one of London’s best Indian restaurants thanks to its mixture of delicious Indian cuisine, authentic settings, and ability to cater for group bookings and parties of all sizes. Within the restaurant, there is room for any function, whether you’re organising a corporate meeting or celebrating your birthday by throwing a dinner party.

The private areas within Darbaar are beautiful and spacious enough to cater for events of various different sizes. The restaurant itself is located in the heart of London’s city centre, with nearby access to local transport links, including Liverpool Street Station. In total, there are four areas to choose from within the Darbaar restaurant, as listed below.

Saffron Room:
This private room is modern and comfortable, with striking interior decor. Within this space, we can cater for up to 22 guests, which makes it a perfect place to host more intimate group outings, either with family or a group of close friends. Alternatively, this room can also be used for meetings or presentations; it comes fully equipped with a sound system and its own 50’’ plasma TV screen.

Chef’s Table:
When dining at the Chef’s Table, you’ll be in the heart of all the action, with your own private view of the restaurant’s busy kitchen. Throughout the evening, chef will be at your fingertips, cooking up a storm exclusively for you and your group. As a result, Chef’s Table is the go-to for those of you who like to receive a very personal service.

Lotus Bar:
The Lotus Bar provides a highly comfortable setting for both corporate events and special occasions. With plush seating, atmospheric music, and a menu of delicious bar nibbles and cocktails, it’s the perfect setting for events of up to 70 guests, whether you’re hoping to host your own cocktail party or simply need somewhere to gather everyone for a drinks reception to remember.

The Darbaar Restaurant:
For larger events, the main restaurant at Darbaar is available to hire, catering for up to 220 standing guests or 120 seated guests. This particular space is recommended for all types of events, such as seated lunches and dinners or gala celebrations. Whatever event you’re hosting within our restaurant, we guarantee that you’ll be treated like royalty.

To celebrate game season, we have launched a brand new tasting menu, inspired by the hunting traditions of Rajasthani royalty.

Chef Abdul has expertly combined the rich and diverse tastes of British game with the traditional flavours of the Royal Courts of India, with delicious dishes on the menu including:

1) Masala minced game chops, with beetroot chutney (£8) – a plate of fragrant patties made from a premium selection of game with traditional Indian spices.
2) Hunter-style partridge, with glazed pear (£12) – a marinated breast of partridge served with fresh green spices and grilled glazed pear.
3) Rajasthani-spiced venison (£26) – a dish full of flavour, featuring a fillet steak of venison that’s prepared with traditional Rajasthani spices and cooked in the wood fired oven until tender, served with oven roasted root vegetables and assorted sides.

Dishes can be ordered separately, or as part of the £45 tasting menu that will also include a palate cleanser and dessert.
